Dhul Hijjah is just around the corner, for those who will be offering a
sacrifice, don’t forget to cut your nails and trim your hair before the blessed
month begins. Offering the udhiyah (sacrifice) is a confirmed Sunnah which is
prescribed for both men and women alike. One sacrifice is acceptable on behalf
of a man and the members of his household and on behalf of a woman and the
members of her household.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever sees the crescent of Dhul-Hijjah, and wants to slaughter a
sacrifice he should not take from his hair nor from his nails.”
Jami`at-Tirmidhi 1523
ذوالحجہ بالکل قریب ہے، جو لوگ قربانی کریں گے، بابرکت مہینہ شروع ہونے سے پہلے
اپنے ناخن کاٹنا اور بالوں کو تراشنا نہ بھولیں۔
قربانی کرنا ایک ثابت شدہ سنت ہے جو مرد اور عورت دونوں کے لیے مشروع ہے۔ ایک
قربانی مرد اور اس کے گھر والوں کی طرف سے اور عورت کی طرف سے اور اس کے گھر کے
افراد کی طرف سے قابل قبول ہے۔
:نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا
جو شخص ذوالحجہ کا چاند دیکھے اور قربانی کرنا چاہے وہ اپنے بالوں اور ناخنوں کو
مت تراشے‘‘۔”
