There is no set number of limit when it comes to Taraweeh prayer. Hazrat Mohammad SAW used to pray 11 rakaat in the night of Ramadan as referenced from the following hadith.
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) used to offer eleven rak`at and that was his prayer. He used to prolong the prostration to such an extent that one could recite fifty verses (of the Qur’an) before he would lift his head. He used to pray two rak`at (Sunna) before the Fajr prayer and then used to lie down on his right side till the call-maker came and informed him about the prayer.
Sahih Al Bukhari – 1123
However when it comes to the 20 rakaat of Taraweeh being prayed in Makkah, it was introduced by Omar Ibn Khattab.
Now the matter under discussion was beautifully described by Sheikh Assim Al Hakeem. Hazrat Mohammad SAW preferred to stay busy in the remembrance of Allah. However, most of the time, he abstained from following some practices regularly such as of use of Miswak. Following that, it is not mandatory to pray only 11 rakaat unless you want to follow sunnah, or you can increase or decrease the number of rakaat as you please.

Haan agar who apni kushi say apko day rhi hai to yeh achi baat hai. Lekin app demand nhi kar skty.
Aslam alikom,i am having a lot of waswas of the shaitan telling me that”islam isn’t real the prophets never existed they are all lies”and they say that”you don’t have faith in islam you have doubts about islam you think that you have faith in islam”but i know i have faith in islam but it keeps saying you don’t have faith in islam,i nearly commited suicide because of this.

Walikum Salam Yes haraam to have a girlfriend. Islam forbids a man to be alone with a non-mahram woman, even if he is teaching her the Qur’aan(the Book of Allaah), That is because the Shaytaan (Satan) would come between them.
