To have a better life, the first thing you got to do is to discipline your life. Do you know what it means to discipline your life? Go to sleep early. Pray Esha and go to sleep. Give up your nightlife to have a disciplined and prosperous life.

Stop going to hookah joint with your friends late at night, don’t go to see a movie, don’t hang out with your friend. In my opinion, don’t even watch Islamic lectures until 2:00 in the morning, as it is not beneficial for you. Pray Esha and go to sleep and wake up early the next day. It is best to wake up before Fajar (The dawn prayer), give yourself 30 minutes, 15 minutes. It is not impossible if you give up your nightlife if you stop binge-watching on Netflix at night.

The other importance of sleeping early at night is at the least of all, you are not accumulating sins before sleeping. You are not getting away from the path because there is no one to overlook you and as everyone is sleeping, shaitan will encourage and manipulate you, even more, to sin as you are all alone. Sleeping early will protect you from not burying your heart under more sins every night, at least you are sleeping, at least you are sleeping and you are innocent for that much.

When you sleep early, you will wake up early and you will start your day with Fajar prayer which is performed on time.

Pray Fajar in Mosque

The male members of the community, at least once a week, make it to the masjid for Fajar. Start with the lowest, start with the very start. Fajar in the masjid means something else. The spiritual feeling you will get after performing Fajar in the mosque cannot be explained but it can only be felt.

When you go for the prayer when you sit there waiting for the Fajar quietly and you recite some Quran and then you ask Allah to forgive you in the morning hours and then you stand next to other believers and the countless armies of angles present at the mosque and you praying in front of Allah, for the sake of Allah only, giving up your sleep and it only happened when you give up your nightlife.

The joy you will feel while coming out of the mosque the first time after the Fajar prayer will bring you back every day. The yearning for the joy to be felt once again will force you to give up your sleep once again and soon it will become your habit.

Just start once a week with a clean heart and pure intentions to please Allah and to earn his love and mercy.

Abu Dharr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace, and blessings be upon him, said, “Allah Almighty says:

Whoever draws close to Me by the length of a hand, I will draw close to him by the length of an arm. Whoever draws close to Me the by the length of an arm, I will draw close to him by the length of a fathom. Whoever comes to Me walking, I will come to him running. Whoever meets Me with enough sins to fill the earth, not associating any partners with Me, I will meet him with as much forgiveness.
