Today in the world of hustle and bustle, there are always going to be some problems which we are facing currently and then some regrets of the past along with them. We often think while going through some problems that if this problem goes away, we will have peace.
No doubt, every one of us have some problems that keep us up at night. We’re thinking about it, we’re saying, man if that went away I’d be alright. But guess what? When that one goes away there is going to be another one and when that one goes away there is going to be another one. And one the other one comes, you are most probably like, man the last one was easier, this is way beyond my threshold. Where did this one come from? This is a way of a bigger problem.
Problems Won’t End in This Life:
We most often forget what Allah can give you when you can trust him. He doesn’t end your problems in this life. In this life, problems will not go away. If problems were gonna go away, they would have gone away for the Prophet Yaqoob AS a lot sooner than you and me. If no problem would have come because we are people of emaan (believe in oneness of Allah) then Prophet Maryam AS should not have had problems and hardships in her life as well as Prophet Hazrat Mohammad SAW would not have had problems in his life.
More Problems for the People who are closest to Allah SWT:
Whenever you study the people who are closest to Allah SWT, subhanAllah all you study are problems. The people of Allah face problems big one their entire life. You are learning about the problem in the chronological order from their birth till the day they died. Yusuf AS, the great profound messenger of Allah, faced the problems of this worldly life from his childhood. That is what the life of this world is pictured for the momin in the following hadith.
Problems in this Life are not because of Allah’s Wrath:
Most of the time in your life when you are going through any hardship, people will start blaming you that this or that problem in your life is because of Allah’s anger on you. Or someone will say that it is the result of Allah’s hatred towards you. Maybe at the end we as weak human beings start thinking that Allah for sure hates me that is why this is happening. Indeed if we ponder our situation more deeply, we may come to know that it is all the plan of Allah to teach us something very important which we may not be able to learn without this test.
Time to Maintain your Love and Reliance on Allah:
When you are in the middle of nowhere and there seems no way out for the kind of trouble you are in, that is the best time to earn the love of Allah SWT by surrendering all your hopes unto him. That he is the only one that can ease out the pain and sufferings of the particular situation. If you believe that Allah has not let you go, he will give you something special in return which is mentioned in the Quran as:
None of the gifts of this life are worthy as compared to that one gift from the Almighty Allah which is the Guidance of one Heart. No matter what is happening in your life, once your heart has been guided, your heart will be at peace irrespective of the situations around you. If you at the time of calamity put your trust in Allah, he will give you this peace of heart in return which no amount of money can buy. This guidance of heartis the ultimate gift of Imaan and calamity which you suffered silently without complaining to the Almighty Allah SWT.
The Ultimate Gift of bearing Calamity for the Sake of Allah SWT:
We as human beings are always in the middle of some difficult situations and we don’t see a way out or the time limit of the clamality. What we don’t understand is those difficult situations are actually Allah’s way of giving us the most valuable gift we can ever earn, his way of guiding our hearts.
If we just use those situations to find Allah in that particular time of difficulty, if we talk to Allah SWT and we just share our heart and its feeling with the creator that oh Allah! You are the best planner and nobody loves me like you do, nobody loves me like you do. So help me out in this situation as I am in need of your guidance.
Supplication For Guidance:
Allah SWT is the creator of all the universes and the things that reside in it. He needs nothing while we, as his creation, are in dire need of his assistance and guidance at every footstep of our life. Hidaya (guidance) is the only thing in the world which is guaranteed that the one who seeks it sincerely will find it. Allah will make a way out of him. Once Allah has blessed someone with guidance, everything else will be solved for him.
