Apart from the astonishing discoveries that pilgrimage make during their visits to the holy Makkah and the city of Medina, Zamzam is also one of the miracles of Almighty Allah which holds the power to cure illness. The Zamzam well is located on the eastern side, a few meters away from the holy Kaabah in the city of Makkah. History of Zamzam Water:
Prophet Ibrahim (AS) was commanded by Allah (SAW) to leave his wife Hajrah and their infant baby Prophet Ismail (AS) in the deserted Makkah. Following the command of Allah, Prophet Ibrahim (AS) did so and left his wife in the holy city of Makkah.
Infant Prophet Ismail (AS) was constantly crying and there was no water or food to feed him. She ran here and there to ask for help but there was no one to help her out. Seeing her baby crying constantly, Hazrat Hajrah started running between the mountains of Safa and Marwa for help seven times but failed to find anyone. On her way back she saw little Prophet Ismail (AS) scraping the ground with his feet’s and that is the place from where sprang of Zamzam water started running. To stop the water from flowing, she said Zamzam meaning “stop”. Since then, the water of Zamzam is flowing constantly which is the source of the healthiest water on earth.

Supplications to Protect Your Family From COVID-19:

In order to protect your family from the afflictions of COVID-19, beside taking all the precautionary measures, recite following supplications with five prayers so that you and your family can come under the protection of Almighty Allah.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبَرَصِ، وَالْجُنُونِ، وَالْجُذَامِ، وَمِنْ سَيِّئِ الأَسْقَام
Allah humma inni a’udhu bika minal-barasi, wal-jununi, wal-judhaami, wa min sayyi’il-asqaami
“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from leprosy, insanity, elephantiasis, and the worst of diseases.” Abu Dawud
Supplications When Visiting Patient:
In these times of COVID-19 crisis, when visiting sick people, make sure to recite this dua so that Almighty Allah reduce their pain and heal them soon.
أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ
“I ask Allah who is the Lofty and the Lord of the Mighty Throne that He cures you”
Prophet Mohammad (SAW.) said that by reciting this dua seven time, the ill person will regain his health and if death occurs then that (death) is a different issue (i.e. death is written it cannot be prevented). (At-Tirmidhi 2:210)
Some Surahs And Duas To Recite for Healing:
Entire Quran is the source of healing and cure for the Muslims, there are some special duas and ayahs called Ayat Ash-Shifa which are source of healing.
1.
وَيَشْفِ صُدُورَ قَوْمٍ مُؤْمِنِين
And [God] shall heal the breast of the believers. (At-Tawba, 9:14).
2.
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُمْ مَوْعِظَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَشِفَاءٌ لِمَا فِي الصُّدُورِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Mankind there has come to you a guidance from your Lord and a healing for (the diseases) in your hearts, and for those who believe a guidance and a mercy. (Yunus, 10:57)

يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بُطُونِهَا شَرَابٌ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهُ فِيهِ شِفَاءٌ لِلنَّاسِ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
There issues from within the bodies of the bee a drink of varying colors wherein is healing for mankind. (An-Nahl, 16:69)
4.
وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا
And We sent down in the Quran such things that have healing and mercy for the believers (Al-Isra, 17:82)
5. A supplication of Prophet Abraham
وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ
And when I am ill, it is [God] who cures me.” (Ash-Shu’ara (The Poets: 26:80)
6.
قُلْ هُوَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا هُدًى وَشِفَاءٌ
And declare (O Muhammad) that [the Quran] is a guidance and healing for the believers. (Al-Fussilat, 41:44)
